Born: 1960

1970s: Member of the National Youth Theatre of Wales and the British Youth Choir.

1980s: Graduated with an honours degree in Drama and English from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. Acted in numerous professional theatre productions, mainly for Theatr Cymru, ranging from panto to Chekhov, from Gwenlyn Parry to Brian Friel. Also acted in several TV productions, including ‘Bowen a’i Bartner’, ‘Coleg’ ‘Hafoc’ ‘Dihirod Dyfed’ ‘Yr Achos Hwn’ ‘BB’ ‘Tu Chwith’ ‘East of the Moon’ ‘Pris y Farchnad’ ‘Minafon’ ‘Y Cyfle Olaf’ and ‘Jabas’ as well as being the voice of the main character in ‘Inspector Gadget’ in over thirty episodes of the cartoon series.

1990s: Acting mainly for television by now. Played the part of the main character Noel Bain’s sidekick, DS Phillips in 13 ‘Mind to Kill/Heliwr’ films, and also Inspector Mike Edmunds in 24 episodes of ‘Y Glas’ as well as two series each of ‘Tair Chwaer’ and ‘Iechyd Da’.Decided in 1997 to concentrate more on main source of income, writing.

By 2007 however, although still writing, decided to return to acting when possible and played the part of ‘Sianco’ in the multi BAFTA award winning film ‘Martha, Jac & Sianco’(Apollo) and ‘Dr Bleddyn’ in ‘SOS Galw Gari Tryfan’ (Boomerang). Most recent work includes 'Dr Haydn Blake' in 'Y Gwyll/Hinterland' (Fiction Factory/Hinterland Ltd 2013), the father, 'Edgar' in theatre two-hander 'Marjori' for Sherman Theatre Company (2013) and Judge in 4 episodes of 'Rownd a Rownd' (Rondo, 2014), Jâms in 'Gwaith/Cartref' Series 5 (Fiction Factory,2014), 'First Drowned Sailor' in 'Under Milk Wood' (Captain Cat,2014) as well as the voice of 'Flop' in numerous episodes of the children's cartoon 'Bing' (Tinopolis, 2014).
